Ugh only one more week until the long awaited school break. Thank you Vancouver for thinking that it'd be beneficial to stop school during the Olympics, because it would have been a bitch to get there when the mayhem comes. Been feeling like days just keep on passing by with no change at all. I wake up, go to school, sleep and the cycle repeats itself until I substitute work for school. And even worst, because I starting to really hate where I work, it just ruins the rest of the week for me, and I DREAD going back. So with that, I've decided to quit (thank god) but that means that I need another one :( Anyone know a place hiring in Vancouver for the fashion-savy?

I've been really into mens t-shirt designs and what not. Why can't they make simple/inventive/dark designs for women? I'm also obsessed with triangle/square graphics. Anything with a big solid triangle or square has me sold, and it's funny because that's the simplest thing that any designer could do, yet it's just so appealing to me.

So I was shopping downtown and found this super awesome puffer jacket at Zara. It was such a steal too so I had to get it along with a strong shouldered blazer. Sadly, the weather here all warm and everything, so I kind of look stupid wearing it around campus, but whatever haha. Also I recently misplaced my camera and had a mini-freakout until I realized that I left it at my friend's house due to a durnken night, and no one thought to tell me later on that it was there until I started panicing a few days later...so i'm using my mom's new camera that my family got her for xmas. Because of this, I've gone on a picture frenzy so hope you enjoy! This is what can usually be found in my bag.

MBMJ wallet, MJ makeup bag from the perfume gift set, BDG super slouchy toque, KRINK marker, IPOD touch, rabbit fur ear muffs, H&M leather gloves, ICEBREAKERS in spearmint (I cannot leave the house without a fully stocked package of these mints, I pop them like an addict).

And my current shoes of choice seen in my pictures. They were such a steal and are super comfortable, I could walk around in them all day long. I love you, Chelsea Premium Outlet Mall. lol.


And these are my current reads at the moment. Because it takes me around 1.5 hours to commute from school and home, I go through books pretty quickly haha.



And for your readers enjoyment, 30 of my most played songs on my iTunes. Sometimes when I really love a song, I'll put it on repeat for a long time, and also when I study/do school work I play them on repeat. Sometimes I get tired of them too, but after a few months break, I fall in love again. For instance, right now I'm listening to NO ONE'S GONNA LOVE YOU - BAND OF HORSES on repeat. What can you say? I'm shameless.


By the way, in my total lack of assignments and what not, I've been catching up on my TV shows and fell in love with MISFITS. It's an E4 show, so it's only in the UK but you can find it on youtube. Watch it!

Finally breaking in these new shoes that I got at the outlet mall in a recent trip down to the states. But anyway, just got back from Big White and it was quite awesome, just being able to wake up and go down for a run right out of the hotel! I miss it all, the snow, the cold, the overwhelming amount of consumed alcohol lol. Now I have to look forward to the tedious weeks of school with large amounts of rain/wind/fog until the February break. Please let it go by quickly...

First week of school is just so...not cool. It's sad that all my classes from last semester, which were perfect people-wise, have changed, making me miss my old studio crew :( It's funny that I think there's this one guys that's literally in ALL of the same classes as me...and it's like, oh hey every single class, that's cool lol. But yes, preparing for a trip to BIG WHITE on Friday! Hopefully I don't hurt myself *knock on wood* cause last time I was at Grouse, I tried to attempt a box grind at the Rookie Terrain Park, and just TOTALLY bailed on my back, and it was so embarrassing because there were people there that were pretty good, and I think I heard people yell out "HELMET" referring to the lack of one on my head as I fell. Let's just say that I'm still recovering from that, and it hurts to sleep. Or move.





Also, weather gods, please bring in some new snow up in the mountains, because honestly, it's sad when you still see grass patches, soil and rocks sticking out of the snow on a run. Also, it's not preferable when huge rocks sneak up on you and stick out of the ground, causing you to ride over them, hurting my poor little board. Let it snow, for the Olympics sake!

From Victoria, the local band just released their debut album that's very Coheed-and-Cambria-esque in which their album also tells a story, this time, about zombies (which is a personal favorite of mine). I'm a fool for zombie movies. It's funny cause sometimes, I do scare easy, and hate the dark, yet I just love zombie movies, especially Dawn of the Dead, Resident Evil and the classics of course.
