Boxing Day Sale purchases. I swear this year was the most intense shopping experience in a long while. Urban Outfitters was impossibly crowded and the cashier line up snaked from the entrance. Holts was good, mainly because that where I found my joys, pertaining to the new boots I mean. I was going to buy the wedge version in black leather but they didn't have any left at Holts, thankfully though, Ash shoes are really comfortable and I'm actually able to walk around in these. Also got some Michael Kors Flats, and all the other purchases aren't worth mentioning...well, okay, just some BDG jeans + slouchy toque, and this nicely cut Zara blazer which will now become another staple.
May it be fun and exciting as you clink glasses with your friends and family. Drink lots and try not to puke before the countdown (because that has happened to me lol).
Since I don't really work at a mall anymore, like I use to last year and the years before that, I feel like I haven't really felt the christmas spirit so this is dedicated to all those mall elves and annoying salvation army bell-ringing volunteers that flood the malls around the world lol. Let the festitions begin, cause seriously, there's only SIX days til christmas!

• I really need a hair cut, I'm starting to look like a scene kid when I tease. • I wish it would snow again. Boo for rain. • I haven't started christmas shopping. • because of seeing the trailer for alvin and the chipmunks the squeakquel I've been compelled to watch the first one, and Theodore is WAYYY cute. • I haven't been out of the house for three days lol.
The weather's been miserable lately. It was snowing before, and I LOVE snow, but then the clouds decided to ruin it with rain. Ergo melted slushy snow to nonexistent snow. The good thing is that I actually got to go boarding this week, my first trip of the year! Too bad it was spent on the bunny hill trying to teach my friend. Ohhh well, hopefully I'll get to go soon once somebody decides to be awesome and drive! But anyway, I was randomly browsing yesstyle, and usually I don't find anything that looks remotely nice, but I stumbled onto deepstyle, a guys brand, and they're stuff looks pretty awesome that I'm compelled to order some of their things soon!
Downloads with...live pictures! Somewhat of a mega-post since it's taking up so much space.
FIREFLIES - THE MIDWAY STATE NEVER AGAIN - THE MIDWAY STATE Very good on stage. They just bring so much energy and charisma to the audience. And I met him afterwards by the merch stand. He was really nice and I got a picture too, except the girl that said she'd take it for me didn't tell me I had no flash, so it was wayyy blurry :(
DO YOU MIND? - THE XX I WISH they would come to Vancouver, it would be my DREAM!
WONDERFUL - GARY GO First time I saw him, I fell in love! He's amazing and opened for Mika. Plus this songs the trailer song for that new OCEAN documentary movie coming out. Good choice guys.
ANY OTHER WORLD - MIKA OVER MY SHOULDER - MIKA Pure Awesomeness. It was so pumping that the floor was jumping, I was right in front of the stage so it was definitely happy about that. And he was just so sincere, he even carried on dancing like a maniac even though he sprained his ankle a few days before (and had a brace on).
"It's my second date with Vancouver, you know what that means? I get to suck your dick!" GAGA.
"Do you think I'm sexy Vancouver? Because I think I'm sexy" GAGA.
"Go ahead, make out with the person next to you, don't worry if its not your preferred sex...cause it a rock concert!" SEMI PRECIOUS WEAPONS.
The concert was visual stunning. My and my friend got seperate seats cause we were only allowed to purchase one ticket at a time in the presale or something, but I was lucky enough to find someone in my row that was also alone and that wanted to switch, so we got to sit together. Plus it was her birthday, so we were just rocking it out. Utterly awesome. Totally overthrows the concert I went to the day before (Stereos, don't ask, but honestly, they're the prettiest band I've ever seen, I was literally taken aback by the total band hotness level haha. And I met Midway State lead singer Nathan Ferraro). But yes, Lady Gaga sure know's how to throw a show. I really liked Semi Precious Weapons too, they're so grunge-rock-club-kids-new-york. Plus they were giving people sips of champagne on stage, and the lead singer changed his costumes on stage as well, haha.
But now back to your regular broadcast systems, my finals are over (YAY!) and it's time for SNOWWWW. But to keep you all entertained...
DAY ONE of actually studying. Mind you I only have one final, but I'm such a procrastinator that I probably won't have enough time to memorize everything. It also doesn't help that I'm going to TWO concerts in TWO DAYS, and maybe throwing in a trip to the mountains. I'm surprised that I even pasted high school with the lack of study-time haha.
What I've also noticed is that I'm been making a habit of sleeping til 5AM, and then not waking up until 3PM. I literally set up five alarms on five minute intervals and still, I sleep until the sun goes down, which could be a considerable factor in my laziness and avoidance of hitting the books. I needs endorphins!

And there's a snowgear sale that I want to go to, that's on the same night.
• The temperature is drastically dropping in Vancouver and I'm not accustom to deal with it right now, nor do I have the funds to buy what I'm lusting for...
I am thoroughly excited that the Lady Gaga concert is this week though which will keep my spirits high until they drop down again with the remembrance of having to study.
I love his work and the play on light juxtaposed with the darkness of the background, and how the light fixture is present in a cross formation that could correlate with the church location. Beautiful stuff.

Sorry for the picture overload, but what can I say? I love his look. Also sorry for the lack of outfit pictures, schools been hectic, but I finally finished my final art project which I will be debuting later on!
